Rat HSP GP96 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GRP94 (also referred to as Endoplasmin, gp96 homolog or HSP90B1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

The 4-hour assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. Standards and samples bind the immobilised capture antibody; a biotinylated detection antibody forms the antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich, and HRP-Streptavidin with TMB substrate produces a measurable colour change. Cross-reactivity is reported as specific for GRP94 with no reactivity against other analogs or variants.

Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 in Sample Dilution Buffer before testing, with 1:2 confirmed as the validated dilution for healthy serum and healthy plasma. Across 10 samples, reported recovery ranges are 88–104% (mean 94%) for serum, 95–102% (mean 100%) for EDTA plasma and 86–101% (mean 94%) for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity provided at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 for all three sample types. The kit includes pre-coated microplate strips, lyophilised standard, sample dilution buffer, biotinylated detection antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer (25X) and plate sealers. Kits are shipped at +4°C and components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
