Rat Histone Deacetylase 1 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat HDAC1 ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro measurement of rat Histone Deacetylase 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips, using a biotinylated anti-HDAC1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate generates a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the kit has a sensitivity of <0.28 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. Sample recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80%-102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81%-100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80%-89%, n=5), with dilution linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is for research use only.
