Rat Histamine Receptor H1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat HRH1/H1R in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs an antibody specific for HRH1/H1R pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, with standards and samples added to the wells. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-HRH1/H1R Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and HRH1/H1R concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The kit shows a sensitivity of less than 0.067 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been validated in serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%), with linearity demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
