Rat Hepatocyte Growth Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Rat Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) ELISA Kit uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat HGF in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for HGF; bound analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-HGF Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with a TMB substrate reaction read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The assay has a working range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <5.7 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, detection is colorimetric, and the platform is a pre-coated microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as directed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Recovery has been validated in serum (n=5) with an average of 91% across an 80%–102% range, in EDTA plasma (n=5) with a 90% average across 81%–100%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) with an 84% average across 80%–89%. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
