Rat Heparanase ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Heparanase 1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection carried out on a colorimetric microplate reader following HRP enzymatic conversion of TMB substrate and measurement of absorbance at 450 nm.

Quoted performance specifications include an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 6.6 pg/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery figures are provided for serum (80%-102%, n=5, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80%-89%, average 84%), together with dilution linearity ranges measured at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each of the three sample matrices.

Supplied components comprise a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Storage conditions for kit components are +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol. The working principle relies on a biotinylated anti-Heparanase 1 detection antibody binding captured analyte, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate addition.
