Rat Heme Oxygenase 1, Decycling ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Heme Oxygenase 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-Heme Oxygenase 1 antibody, and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a TMB substrate producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. Sensitivity is reported as <0.058 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported average recovery is 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5).
