Rat Heat Shock Transcription Factor 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Heat Shock Transcription Factor 1 (HSF1) in rat tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with anti-HSF1 antibody and follows a standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay workflow with a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Quantitative performance: assay range 0.156–10 ng/ml and sensitivity <0.052 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in rat serum (n=5) was 80–102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%). Linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated microplate (12 × 8 well strips).
