Rat Heat Shock Protein Beta 2 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative in vitro determination of rat Heat Shock Protein Beta 2 (HSPB2) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for HSPB2 pre-coated onto a microplate, with detection via a biotinylated anti-HSPB2 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, read colorimetrically at 450 nm using a microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.051 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery data report an average of 91% for serum (range 83–99%, n=5), 89% for EDTA plasma (range 80–99%, n=5), and 90% for heparin plasma (range 82–99%, n=5). Linearity data are provided for each matrix across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16.
