Rat Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GRP94 (Heat Shock Protein 90kDa Beta 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format and follows a sandwich immunoassay workflow with a biotinylated anti-GRP94 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.052 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery across serum (n=5) was 83–99% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 80–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 82–99% (average 90%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was 87–109%, 74–104%, 90–94% and 86–108% for serum; 86–101%, 90–101%, 78–110% and 84–96% for EDTA plasma; and 90–101%, 77–107%, 93–96% and 89–109% for heparin plasma (n=5 each). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
