Rat Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 8 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 8 (Hsc70) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Hsc70. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Hsc70 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.103 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n = 5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%, n = 5), and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%, n = 5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
