Rat Growth Regulated Oncogene Gamma ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GRO gamma (Growth Regulated Oncogene Gamma) and is reactive with rat samples. It is suitable for measuring GRO gamma in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Captured analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-GRO gamma antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm. The total assay time is 4 h 30 min, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <33 pg/ml and a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml. Average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%). Linearity has been demonstrated at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
