Rat Growth Hormone ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Growth Hormone in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) with a Growth Hormone-specific capture antibody, paired with a biotinylated anti-Growth Hormone detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a yellow colour proportional to Growth Hormone concentration, read at 450 nm.

The assay has a working range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.054 ng/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Validation data are reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
