Rat Growth Differentiation Factor 1 ELISA Kit

The format uses a pre-coated microplate with a GDF1-specific capture antibody, paired with a biotinylated anti-GDF1 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate for a colorimetric readout at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The manufacturer states a sensitivity of 12.5 pg/ml and an assay range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml. Recovery data for n=5 are listed as serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%). Serial-dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is also reported. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
