Rat Growth Arrest Specific Protein 6 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative determination of rat GAS 6 (Growth Arrest Specific Protein 6) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with an antibody specific for GAS 6; standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-GAS 6 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with a TMB substrate producing a yellow product read at 450 nm whose intensity is proportional to the GAS 6 concentration in the well.

Reported sensitivity is <0.071 ng/ml and the working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Mean recovery (n=5) is 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with linearity characterised across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
