Rat Granzyme B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Granzyme B in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips); standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Granzyme B detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader and the Granzyme B concentration is calculated against the standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Key performance specifications include an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of <6.4 pg/ml. Reported recovery values (n=5) are 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilution factors of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%), respectively.
