Rat Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Receptor (GnRHR) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Distributed under the Antibodies.com brand, the kit uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for GnRHR, with detection carried out using a biotinylated anti-GnRHR antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.05 ng/ml, and the full protocol takes 4 h 30 min. Spiked recovery in undiluted samples is reported at an average of 91% (range 80–102%, n=5) for serum, 90% (range 81–100%, n=5) for EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity is provided for each matrix at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions.

Kit components comprise a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated, and the reagents must not be used past the stated expiration date.
