Rat GM-CSF ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Rat GM-CSF ELISA Kit is a 4-hour sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GM-CSF in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for GM-CSF with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and the manufacturer describes the protocol as easy to follow.

Quantitative performance is supported by a product range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of <9.375 pg/mL. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader, using a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate platform. The complete assay time is 4 hours.

Validated sample types include serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, with reported recovery ranges of 86-103%, 85-104%, and 85-100% respectively. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with the provided Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. Validated dilutions include healthy serum (1:2) and rat peripheral blood cell culture supernatants stimulated with 10 µg/mL PHA for 24 hours (1:2). Kit components are shipped and stored at +4°C, with select components stored at -20°C as detailed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
