Rat Glypican 3 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glypican 3 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips with an immobilised antibody specific for Glypican 3. Captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Glypican 3 antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate, and the reaction is visualised with TMB substrate that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm. The manufacturer states an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.067 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Recovery performance reported by the manufacturer for n=5 samples per matrix covers undiluted serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively, and serial dilution recoveries across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 ranging from 74% to 108%. Kit components include lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
