Rat Glycogen Phosphorylase, Muscle ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the quantitative determination of rat PYGM in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The target is also known as glycogen phosphorylase, muscle form, and myophosphorylase. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Reported performance figures include an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity below 0.059 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Standards and samples are added to antibody-coated wells; captured PYGM is detected with Biotinylated Anti-PYGM Antibody and HRP-Avidin, then visualised with TMB substrate. The resulting yellow product density is proportional to PYGM concentration, which is calculated by reference to a standard curve. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
