Rat Glycerol-3-Phosphate Acyltransferase, Mitochondrial ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GPAM in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated microplate and read using a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance measured at 450 nm against a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is less than 0.046 ng/ml, and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked recovery testing (n=5), serum samples averaged 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma averaged 90% (range 81–100%), and heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80–89%). Linearity was also evaluated at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across each sample type.

The kit contains a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, a wash buffer concentrate, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers. Component storage conditions range from +4°C to –20°C as indicated in the product documentation.
