Rat Glutathione S Transferase Theta 2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glutathione S Transferase Theta 2 (GSTT2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for GSTT2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and the captured GSTT2 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-GSTT2 Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate to produce a yellow product read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader.

The assay runs in 4h 30m with a measurable range of 1.56-100 U/L and a sensitivity of <1 U/L. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the stated expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery values average 92% in serum (range 82-102%, n=5), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 91-98%, n=5) and 93% in heparin plasma (range 86-101%, n=5). Dilution linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.
