Rat Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glutathione S Transferase Alpha 1 (GSTA1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-GSTA1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a reported product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.132 ng/ml and a total run time of 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery testing showed averages of 91% (range 80%–102%) in serum, 90% (range 81%–100%) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80%–89%) in heparin plasma (each n=5). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
