Rat Glutathione Peroxidase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glutathione Peroxidase 1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Glutathione Peroxidase 1, with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the product range is 1.56–100 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.63 ng/ml, and the assay is completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions has been documented, with overall ranges of 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma, and 82–105% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
