Rat Glutamate Dehydrogenase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glutamate Dehydrogenase 1 (GLUD1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate using a Biotinylated Anti-GLUD1 capture antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate for detection. TMB substrate produces a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colourmetric microplate reader, with the optical density of the well proportional to the amount of GLUD1 captured.

Quantitative performance specifications include an assay range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.63 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated in the package insert and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. The application is sandwich ELISA with reactivity confirmed for rat samples.

Validation data show spike-and-recovery across five replicates per matrix with average recoveries of 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
