Rat Glucuronidase Beta ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat beta Glucuronidase/GUSB in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips), with an antibody specific for beta Glucuronidase/GUSB immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilised antibody.

Following incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-beta Glucuronidase/GUSB Antibody is added, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow colour is proportional to the amount of beta Glucuronidase/GUSB captured, which can be quantified by reading the absorbance at 450 nm with a colorimetric microplate reader and comparing to the standard curve.

The kit has a product range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 28.6 pg/ml, with an assay time of 4h 30m. It is suitable for use with serum, plasma and tissue homogenates. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date.
