Rat Glucose Transporter 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glucose Transporter GLUT3 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Glucose Transporter GLUT3. Captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-GLUT3 antibody followed by HRP-Avidin and a TMB substrate, with the colour change read as absorbance at 450 nm. Quoted sensitivity is 0.116 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m and detection is colorimetric, performed on a microplate reader.

Sample recovery was characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with mean recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively across the tested sample sets. Linearity was evaluated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these matrices. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored between +4°C and -20°C as indicated in the product insert; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
