Rat Glucokinase ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Glucokinase in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection based on a biotinylated anti-Glucokinase antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.24 ng/ml and the assay range as 0.781-50 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Spike-and-recovery values (average, n=5) are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80%-89%). Linearity of dilution has been assessed across 1:2 to 1:16 in each matrix. Kit components are to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
