Rat Gastrokine 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat GKN2 (Gastrokine 2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to wells where GKN2 is captured by the immobilised antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-GKN2 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; the resulting blue product turns yellow after acidic stop solution is applied, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml and the sensitivity is 0.55 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is validated for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across multiple dilutions, and components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated.
