Rat Gastrokine 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Gastrokine 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-Gastrokine 1 detection antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colorimetric, using TMB substrate to produce a yellow product read at 450 nm, where colour intensity is proportional to Gastrokine 1 concentration in the sample.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.069 ng/ml and a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In reported sample recovery testing across five replicates, average recovery was 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Linearity at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 across five replicates ranged from 87-91% to 92-97% for serum, 90-105% to 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84-95% to 89-91% for heparin plasma, depending on dilution factor.
