Rat Ficolin 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat FCN1/M-Ficolin (Ficolin 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-FCN1/M-Ficolin detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is supported by a standard curve covering a product range of 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.33 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported recovery ranges in neat samples were 80–102% for serum (average 91%, n=5), 81–100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5) and 80–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
