Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 4 (FGF4) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-FGF4 detection antibody with HRP-avidin. Signal is developed with TMB substrate, stopped with acidic solution, and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has a sensitivity of <5.4 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Reported standard recovery values (n=5) are: serum 80%-102% with an average of 91%, EDTA plasma 81%-100% with an average of 90%, and heparin plasma 80%-89% with an average of 84%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions (n=5) ranges from 74% to 108% depending on sample type.

Kit components include the pre-coated 96-well microplate, 2 vials of lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A (120µl) and Detection Solution B (120µl), Wash Buffer 30X (20ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45ml), TMB Substrate (9ml), Stop Solution (6ml), and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
