Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative determination of rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 3 (FGF3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip configuration with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm, following a biotinylated anti-FGF3 antibody and HRP-avidin workflow with TMB substrate.

Performance specifications include an assay range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of less than 5.8 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery averages are 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%), each from n=5 samples. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma (all n=5).

Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Kit components are stored at -20°C or +4°C as indicated, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
