Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 19 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 19 (FGF19) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate and a biotinylated anti-FGF19 detection antibody, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of less than 6.2 pg/ml and a standard curve range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml. Sample recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 83-100%, n=5), 96% in EDTA plasma (range 90-103%, n=5) and 95% in heparin plasma (range 89-102%, n=5).
