Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 12 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat FGF12 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a biotinylated anti-FGF12 antibody with HRP-Avidin detection, visualised using TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports a standard curve range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 5.9 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min and reactivity specific to rat. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5, range 83%–100%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 90%–103%, average 96%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 89%–102%, average 95%). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
