Rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 10 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Fibroblast Growth Factor 10 (FGF10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

An antibody specific for FGF10 is immobilised on the plate. Standards and samples are added, followed by Biotinylated Anti-FGF10 Antibody and then HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is converted to a blue product which turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to FGF10 concentration, quantified against the standard curve. The reported product range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <33 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported average recovery is serum 91% (range 83%-100%, n=5), EDTA plasma 96% (range 90%-103%, n=5) and heparin plasma 95% (range 89%-102%, n=5). Across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, the reported observed ranges are serum 79%-110%, EDTA plasma 73%-109% and heparin plasma 77%-110%. Supplied components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 µl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers.
