Rat Estrogen Receptor Beta ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Estrogen Receptor Beta in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for Estrogen Receptor Beta immobilised on the plate surface. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-Estrogen Receptor Beta detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; the enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. The manufacturer reports a total assay time of 4h 30m, a sensitivity of 0.112 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml.
