Rat Eosinophil Chemotactic Factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Eotaxin (Eosinophil Chemotactic Factor) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for the target protein, with detection achieved via a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay covers a standard curve range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <14.2 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol. Serum and plasma samples are recommended to be diluted prior to testing.

Manufacturer-reported recovery data from validation studies show average recovery values of 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity is reported across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in all three matrices.
