Rat Enolase, Neuron Specific ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Neuron-Specific Enolase (NSE/ENO2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-NSE/ENO2 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic solution and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit has a stated product range of 0.625-40 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.215 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values across five replicates are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity data are provided for 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample matrices, for example 84-101% for EDTA plasma at 1:4 and 92-105% for heparin plasma at 1:4.
