Rat Elastase 2A ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat CELA2A (Elastase 2A) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for CELA2A. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CELA2A Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay range is 62.5–4000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <22.5 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values include serum (average 91%, range 83–100%), EDTA plasma (average 96%, range 90–103%), and heparin plasma (average 94%, range 90–99%). Sample dilution linearity is reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 each) at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
