Rat Eif2ak3 ELISA Kit

The assay is reactive with rat and targets PERK, which is also known by the synonyms EIF2AK3, Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2-alpha kinase 3, PEK, and PRKR-like endoplasmic reticulum kinase. It is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids, and is reported to be specific for PERK with no cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The kit uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody, and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a colorimetric signal read at 450 nm. The complete protocol takes 4 hours. The standard curve spans 46.875-3000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity of <28.125 pg/mL. Validated sample dilutions include rat liver tissue lysate at 1:2 and rat brain tissue lysate at 1:2.
