Rat Dual Oxidase 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Dual Oxidase 2 (DUOX2) in rat serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The plate is pre-coated with antibody specific for DUOX2, and bound analyte is detected with a biotinylated anti-DUOX2 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Stated sensitivity is 0.058 ng/ml and the working range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Manufacturer-reported average recoveries from spiked samples are 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Supplied components are a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips, two vials of lyophilised standard, 120 µl of Detection Solution A, 120 µl of Detection Solution B, 20 ml of 30X Wash Buffer, 45 ml of Sample Dilution Buffer, 9 ml of TMB Substrate, 6 ml of Stop Solution and five adhesive plate sealers. Reagents are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as labelled and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
