Rat Dopamine Receptor D1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of rat Dopamine Receptor D1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a specific capture antibody, followed by a biotinylated anti-Dopamine Receptor D1 detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <0.062 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values include averages of 91% for serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions is also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
