Rat Dickkopf Related Protein 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Dickkopf Related Protein 1 (DKK1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for DKK1, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-DKK1 antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with detection carried out using TMB substrate solution and absorbance measurement at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Manufacturer-stated performance specifications include a sensitivity of <0.133 ng/ml, an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recovery averages are 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5), with dilution linearity values also reported for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions.
