Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cytokine Receptor Like Factor 1 (CRLF1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The complete protocol runs in 4 hours 30 minutes.
The stated assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml and sensitivity is 0.063 ng/ml. Recovery data are reported for serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has also been characterised, with serum (n=5) falling within 74–107%, EDTA plasma (n=5) within 79–108% and heparin plasma (n=5) within 82–105%.
Storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed for individual components, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date. Detection uses a biotinylated anti-CRLF1 antibody with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; after addition of the acidic stop solution, the resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm and its absorbance is proportional to the amount of CRLF1 captured in each well.
