From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cytochrome P450 Reductase in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate onto which standards and samples are added; a biotinylated anti-Cytochrome P450 Reductase antibody binds the captured target, and an HRP-avidin conjugate together with TMB substrate generates a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The intensity of yellow, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of Cytochrome P450 Reductase in each well, with the concentration calculated by reference to the standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is 0.081 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Recovery performance across n=5 samples is documented at 80%-102% for serum, 81%-100% for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% for heparin plasma, with consistent linearity across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in each sample type.
