Rat Cytochrome P450 1A2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cytochrome P450 1A2. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with biotinylated detection antibody, HRP conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Two formats are described in the manufacturer documentation. One has an assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes, a working range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.125 ng/ml, and is validated for tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, with recovery and linearity data for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. This second format is reported to be specific for Cytochrome P450 1A2 with no observed cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and includes validated dilutions for AR42J cell lysate (undiluted) and rat brain tissue lysate at 1:2.

Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed; kits should not be used past the stated expiration date and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
