Rat Cyclophilin B ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cyclophilin B in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. A Cyclophilin B-specific capture antibody is immobilised on the plate; bound Cyclophilin B is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Cyclophilin B Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised via TMB substrate. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.25 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. Recovery testing with n=5 samples per matrix returned ranges of 80-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was assessed across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix). The kit is validated for rat Cyclophilin B quantitation in serum and plasma.
