Rat Cyclin Dependent Kinase 2 ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cyclin Dependent Kinase 2 (CDK2), this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com is intended for use with tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit is built around a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, and uses a biotinylated anti-CDK2 detection antibody in conjunction with an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal visualised using TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and the concentration of CDK2 in each sample is calculated by reference to the standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Stated sensitivity is 0.133 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Manufacturer validation data includes spike-and-recovery results for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5), with mean recoveries of 91%, 90% and 84% respectively across the reported ranges. Linearity-of-dilution data is also provided for the same sample types at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16.

Components supplied include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures of +4°C or −20°C as specified for each item.
