This competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Cross Linked N-Telopeptide Of Type I Collagen in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. During incubation, target analyte present in samples or standards competes with immobilised antigen for binding sites on a biotinylated detection antibody. After washing, an HRP–Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate are added; the resulting yellow colour is inversely proportional to target concentration and is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.
