Rat Creatine Kinase, Muscle ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of rat Creatine Kinase MM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and employs a biotinylated anti-Creatine Kinase MM detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader and the concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a product range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.63 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%). Linearity on dilution has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
